Information for Year 7 Students starting September 2020
We are looking forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students in September and hope the students are looking forward to starting the next stage of their education with us.
The following information is applicable to those girls WHO HAVE BEEN OFFERED a place at Bullers Wood School by their local authority. Please do not complete the documentation if this is not the case.
Please complete our online information form as soon as possible. This includes important documents for you to read and agree to so please allow some time to complete this.
If you have any admissions queries, please email Mrs Oliver, PA to the Headteacher.
Please read about our attendance procedures and the school day and this statement about mobile devices. Our term dates for 2020-2021 are here. All our school policies can be found on this page – please take the time to familiarise yourself with them. Your daughter will receive a Contact Book in September containing lots of key information for reference.
This page contains all the information about school uniform and equipment including the uniform list and suppliers and how to order.
Cashless Catering/School Gateway
Most school communications are sent out by email – please ensure that the school has a correct email address for correspondence. You will need to register for School Gateway in order to receive important messages from school. This also links to our cashless catering system. Further information will be sent about School Gateway in due course.
If you wish your daughter to receive instrumental or singing lessons, please print and complete the BYMT form and return it to Mr Parsons, Head of Music, at the school, either by post or by handing it in at Student Services at the start of September. Details of fees for lessons are included on the form.
Friends of Bullers Wood
Friends of Bullers Wood are our Parent/Teacher/Friend Association, which supports the school by holding events and raising vital funds. Please read this letter and consider supporting the school with a regular donation.
Pupil Premium and Free School Meals
Please read this information about Pupil Premium and Free School Meals. If you are eligible to apply for Free School Meals, please apply through your local council. For Bromley residents, the information is here.
Unfortunately, under the current circumstances, we cannot say at this stage what the induction arrangements will be for our new Year 7 students. Please rest assured that it is very important to us to do everything we can to ensure a smooth transition to secondary school for your daughter. As soon as we are able to make plans, we will be in contact with details.
