Year 9 Public Speaking Competition

Hosted at Bullers Wood, the Year 9 Bromley Public Speaking Final was a wonderful evening of impressive speakers from schools across the borough.  We were delighted to have 3 finalists in the competition: Zoe Bennett, who explored the inspiration she derives from musical theatre; Georgina Bevan, who entertained us with her thoughts on the power of changing your mind; Phoebe Nainggolan, who articulated the importance of speaking up for who you are.  All of our finalists were praised for their engaging performance by judges ranging from local dignitaries to professionals with extensive public speaking expertise.  Phoebe was successful in securing third place in the overall competition and was presented with her prize of £50 by Caroline Clark from The Speaker’s Trust.

Congratulations and well done to all of our Year 9 public speakers!
