Excellent GCSE Results Summer 2023!
Students and staff at Bullers Wood School for Girls are today celebrating their GCSE results with some excellent outcomes! We are very proud of the achievement of all our students and the brilliant results they have achieved.
A third of all grades awarded were 9-7 which is a fantastic achievement. 90% of students achieved at a Grade 4 or above for English and 80% achieved at least a Grade 4 for Maths. One student attained 11 Grade 9s and 6 students achieved 6 or more Grade 9s in total. All of these represent the significant amount of hard work, dedication and resilience shown by our students during the challenges over the last couple of years. Coupled with last week’s excellent A Level results, this has been a very strong year for the school and its students.
Headteacher Mr Simon Hardwick said: “This is a really strong set of results across our subjects and I am absolutely delighted to see our students doing so well and confidently joining our Sixth Form or moving to their next steps. Students have worked incredibly hard and shown perseverance and resilience during this challenging period. I am so proud of the professionalism and work of our dedicated staff team who have encouraged and supported our students throughout this time and also our highly supportive parents – thank you!”
